Proudly serving military families since 2010 — thousands of couples married
Armed Forces Proxy Marriages was founded with a simple belief: deployment shouldn't stand between two people who want to spend their lives together.
Since 2010, we've had the privilege of helping thousands of military couples begin their married lives — no matter where in the world they're stationed. What started as a small family operation in Bigfork, Montana has grown into the most trusted proxy marriage service for U.S. military personnel.
We handle every detail — from paperwork to court filings to the ceremony itself — so you can focus on what matters most. Every couple is treated like family, because to us, that's exactly what you are.
The family behind Armed Forces Proxy Marriages
Co-Owner
Tom oversees the day-to-day operations of Armed Forces Proxy Marriages and works directly with couples throughout the process. His commitment to making every marriage happen quickly and smoothly has earned the trust of thousands of military families. Available 24/7, Tom is often the first voice couples hear when they call — and the one who walks them through every step.
Co-Owner
Teresa brings warmth and attention to detail to every couple's experience. She manages the administrative side of each marriage and ensures that every document is prepared correctly and filed on time. Teresa's personal touch and genuine care for the couples they serve is at the heart of what makes Armed Forces Proxy Marriages feel like family.
Licensed legal representation for every marriage
Managing Partner • Measure Law, Kalispell, Montana
Every proxy marriage we perform is backed by licensed legal representation. Marybeth is a Montana native who grew up in Miles City, attended the University of Montana and Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey — then caught the first flight back to Montana after graduation.
Her practice focuses on appeals, family law, alternative dispute resolution and mediation. She is a past trustee of the State Bar of Montana, the Fee Free Arbitration Committee and the State Bar Professionalism Committee. She previously served as the board president for our local chapter of CASA for Kids and is the former Vice President of the board for Discovery Developmental Center.
Marybeth appears before the Clerk of Court in Flathead County to submit your application and ensure everything is filed correctly under Montana law. Her involvement means your marriage is a properly executed legal proceeding — recognized by all 50 states and every branch of the U.S. Military. Attorney fees are included in your $700 package.

Montana is one of only a few states that allows proxy marriage, and the only state that allows double proxy marriage — where neither party needs to be present. We hope one day you'll be able to visit and experience the place where your marriage began.
We've been doing this since 2010. Thousands of couples married and counting — we know exactly how to make it happen quickly and correctly.
You're not a number here. Tom and Teresa work with every couple personally. Call at 2 AM from overseas — someone will answer.
Licensed attorney representation, proper court filings, and certified copies. Your marriage is 100% legal — recognized everywhere you serve.
